Fr. Marcel Guarnizo is a Badass

You have probably heard about Fr. Marcel Guarnizo, the priest who had his faculties withdrawn for refusing communion to an open and active lesbian.  If you hadn't heard of him you have now and let me tell you that he is one awesome guy.  Check out this excellent defense written by Fr. Guarnizo himself.  The most impressive thing about it is its humility.  Fr. Guarnizo closes by saying,
I remain my bishop’s and my Church’s, and above all Christ Jesus’ obedient servant

It is a great man who has both courage and humility.  We must pray for Fr. Guarnizo and for a quick and favorable resolution to his situation.
